Going for a Million!

WINNIPEG, MB: Techapalooza 2025 is returning March 1, 2025, with a goal of surpassing the $1,000,000 mark in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
The 2025 Techapalooza planning committee is inviting musicians and bands to join the 2025 line up as we band together to beat cancer. Each band must be comprised of members of the IT community, with an allowance for two “ringers” (non-IT community members).

Bands are selected based on their ability to entertain the audience with a unique theme and ability to draw participation from co-workers, friends and family. The success of this event is driven by the bands, their band members and the excitement of the audience they attract.

About Techapalooza
Named Outstanding Philanthropic Group in 2022 by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Manitoba Chapter, Techapalooza is volunteer-run live battle of the bands style fundraiser that brings together the best musical talent in the Winnipeg IT community to raise funds for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Since 2012, Techapalooza has raised over $900,000 through corporate sponsorship and private donations with all proceeds going directly to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation!
