Canadian Music Hall of Famers!

Bill and Dave’s Garage Band came into being in 2012 to play in the Techapalooza event that year. Since then, they have honed their upbeat, fast paced sound and classic rock chops and become a staple of the event. Layered guitars, vocal harmonies and great songs over the years propelled them into the Techapalooza Hall of Fame in 2025. Led by the backbeat of the legendary Hal Ryckman on drums and longtime Winnipeg music scene fixture Brad Enns on bass, the vocals of Thom and Teagan Wolstencroft, backed by Neil and Brad create harmonies that have become a hallmark of the band. The rock and roll guitars of Teagan, Neil and Nap add punch to the keyboard stylings of Ryan Haughey that blend into a set of full force rock and roll!

Bill and Dave’s Garage Band Presents: The Canadian Music Hall of Fame is…

Hal Ryckman
Hal has been an integral part of Techapalooza since its inception as a founder of the event. His many years as a professional drummer make him the heartbeat of Bill and Dave’s. Hal once had members of Deep Purple, who caught his band’s set in a bar in Edmonton, tell him they thought they were really good!

Thom Wolstencroft
Fresh off LTIR and back in the line up, Thom will once again be the face and front man of Bill and Dave’s. Thom’s vocal talents have carried Bill and Dave’s since 2012; his range, style and personality give the band its character. Thom knows the words to every song ever played on AM radio in the 60s and 70s. All of Them.

Teagan Wolstencroft
Bill and Dave’s are lucky to have Thom’s son and musical prodigy Teagan with us again this year. His bell-like voice and phenomenal guitar skills have made him invaluable to the band. he’s more of a “metal” guy, but loves to play “Dad Rock” with his dad.

Brad Enns
A veteran of both the punk and country music scenes in the 70s and 80s (I know, weird mix), Brad’s sublime bass lines (along with Hal) carry Bill and Dave’s backbeat. His ability to sing harmonies and find just the right note are a big part of the Bill and Dave sound.

Neil Sinnott
Back with the band after a hiatus, Neil is the Swiss Army knife of the band. Singer: check! Guitar Player: check! Glockenspiel: Check! Percussion: Check! Neil’s many talents and musical knowledge allow Bill and Dave’s to have a full sound, no matter what songs we take on.

Ryan Haughey
A newcomer to the band last year, Ryan is a friend of Teagan’s and a terrific keyboardist. His musical background and depth are on full display in every arrangement. Ryan’s playing and arranging have become an integral part of the band.

Napoleon Sansregret
A fixture at Techapalooza, Napoleon is likely the “OK-ist” guitar player in the band, after picking it up later in life. His leanings toward the harder side of rock give the band some edge and variety.
